There are three primary types of input data required for Fligence Planning: flight schedules, market size files and airline relations.
You can use the Planning menu panel, as shown in Figure 1, to populate the input data.

1. Flight Schedules
Airport users can use the Airline Schedule page (Figure 1) to add and edit new flights to and from your airport. Typically, you would add a non-stop outbound flight along with its return. In rare cases where a one-stop flight is needed, the Via field can be used to specify the intermediate stop.
Airline users can make the following three types of changes using the Airline Schedule page:
- Modify the host airline’s schedule data, including adding/removing flight routes, changing aircraft types, adjusting seat configurations and flight frequencies, and modifying departure and arrival times.
- Adjust codeshares of the host airline.
- Modify a competitor’s organic schedule and codeshares, simply by setting the competitor as the Host Airline and then editing its schedule.
You can use the sorting and filtering functions to get records you are interested. Additionally, you can use the Batch Update function to update multiple records simultaneously or insert codeshare records in batches.
Additionally, you can edit an external schedule file, save it as a CSV file and then upload it into the Host Schedule model. The input CSV file must adhere to the current Host Schedule format. An easy way to ensure the correct format is to download the Host Schedule table into a CSV file and then make the necessary modifications.
Click the File button 
to export the data into a CSV file. Please note that there is a limit on how many records can be downloaded at once, and this limit depends on your contract terms. For tables with fewer than 5000 records, you can also export the data into a formatted Excel file by clicking the Excel button 
.
When uploading a CSV file into a table, the input file must adhere to the current table format.
Upon completing the schedule updates, you can utilize the Flight Map page, as shown in Figure 3, to access a flight map displaying the updated schedule for validation.
2. Market Size
The Market Size file defines total demand for a true O&D (Origin and Destination) market and provides average fare data for the market. You have the option to leave this page empty, in which case the system will automatically extract market size data for the target month. Alternatively, you can create a market size file and upload it as needed. The input Market Size file must adhere to the current Market Size format, as shown in Figure 4.
Fligence Planning distinguishes between Low-Cost Carrier (LCC) average fares and Legacy carrier fares. In the event that you do not possess these specific fare values within your market size file, you can set the values for these two columns to zero, while only populating the Fare column. It is essential to note that there two columns must still be present in the input file, even if they are filled with zero values.
3. Airline Relations
Fligence Planning allows you to manage airline codeshares, airline joint ventures, and airline alliance. To add, delete, or modify codeshare flights, you can utilize the Host Schedule page in Figure 2 to make the necessary adjustments to codeshare flight records. For converting interline connections into codeshares or joint venture flights, the Partner Factors tab, as shown in Figure 5, provides the appropriate tools.
The airline alliance relationship can be defined or modified in the Alliance page, as shown in Figure 6. You have the flexibility to adjust the membership of existing alliances or create new records and add airlines as alliance members.
