Good news: TSA has restated its airport throughput data for March 1 through June 13, 2026, resolving the reporting issues that affected several major U.S. airports.

The issue impacted airports including ATL, MCO, MIA, LAX, LGA, BOS, and others, resulting in understated passenger throughput during that period. Below are snapshots of ATL airport before and after the update for your reference.

Over the past several months, we worked closely with TSA to report the discrepancies and provide examples of the affected data. We’re pleased to see the corrected data has now been released.

We’ve already updated the FlightBI TSA database, and our preliminary validation indicates that the restated numbers now look accurate.

If your organization uses TSA throughput data for forecasting, staffing, passenger trend analysis, or benchmarking, it may be worth refreshing any analyses or reports that included data from March 1–June 13, 2026.
