Check if there’s a blue ‘Apply’ button to the right of the control area, as shown in the following Figure. If so, make sure to fill in all desired control values and then click ‘Apply’ to update the dashboard. This button prevents the dashboard from querying the database before all control settings are finalized.
Some dashboards do not have an ‘Apply’ button. This allows you to interactively click parts of one chart to update others in real time—without needing to press ‘Apply’ each time.
